Being well prepared will earn you points right out of the blocks. Research Avaloq and our products before your interview and consider what questions you might be asked during the interview. These are often the same questions to be put to you. So be prepared to explain why you would like to work for us, why we should hire you specifically, and what experience and skills you have that make you the ideal candidate for the position.
Familiarise yourself with the job advertised and jot down some questions about the core tasks and skills it requires.
It is also important that you be clear about your expectations and motivation. Applicants who are “just passing through” generally do not make a good impression. Demonstrate to the interviewer that you are truly interested in the position and that you want to contribute to our innovative product.
You only get one chance to make a first impression. There are three important aspects to the interview: be on time, be prepared and, most importantly, be yourself! We want to get to know you as well as possible, because only then can we be certain that we are offering you a job that suits you.
